CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

When it comes to corporate responsibility, we practice what we preach

We strongly recognize our responsibility for the impacts of our decisions and actions on society and the environment. Our corporate responsibility initiatives and programs demonstrate our commitment to transparency, ethical behavior, and the belief that actions speak louder than words.

Youth Development

We run trainee programs that specifically focus on nurturing and developing young talent. Through mentorship, we empower the next generation to thrive.

Community Welfare and Wellbeing

Our commitment extends beyond business. We actively support the welfare and wellbeing of our local community, ensuring a positive impact.

Disability Support

We stand by disability organizations, advocating for inclusivity and providing meaningful assistance to those in need.

Environmental Responsibility

We make conscious choices to reduce our ecological footprint. By embracing environmentally responsible practices, we contribute to a healthier planet.

We take immense pride in our reputation for nurturing young talent within the local communities where we operate. Over the past fifteen years, we’ve mentored and trained students who joined us part-time while pursuing their studies at school, university, or college. Many of these individuals have transitioned to full-time roles with us, while others have pursued different paths (with our wholehearted encouragement) before eventually returning to embark on fulfilling careers at our company.

We are proud to give back to the community that supports us. Getting involved in and supporting local businesses, not for profit organisations, and sporting clubs has empowered our staff with a great sense of achievement.

We believe in doing what we can to help empower people with a disability through a range of job opportunities with us. We believe the right employment and skills based opportunities have the potential to enhance a person’s quality of life and develop their full potential.

ESG’s Impact on Supply Chain Dynamics

4-8% of the world’s global greenhouse gas footprint comes from the apparel and footwear industry, making it one of the top contributors to the climate crisis.

SMETA is an audit, which helps you to understand standards of labour, health and safety, environmental performance, and ethics within own operations or at a supplier site. We are proud to announce that our corporate have successfully achieved Sedex certification.

We take immense pride in being one of Australia’s first companies to offer cotton sublimation printing. And over the years, we have consistently promoted the use of RPET recycled fabric. We have always been providing our customers with more environmentally friendly packaging, including recyclable cartons and biodegradable plastic packages. If you’d like to learn more about sustainable materials, please feel free to get in touch with us.

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria have become increasingly important in recent years as the world continues to move towards a more sustainable future. ESG is a set of standards that companies must adhere to in order to create and maintain a socially responsible and sustainable business model.

Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an effect on ESG efforts across global supply chains too. Businesses had no choice but to reexamine their strategies since many suppliers experienced disruption caused by travel restrictions or delays in production due to lockdown orders or customer demand changes. Consequently, firms should concentrate on setting up resilient supply chains that can quickly adapt during times of crisis while still being cost efficient.
